The "Tiel Mobile" is now mobile!
This has been a fun project to work on
Since I started doing workshops, I noticed that I didn't have any advertising on my car. I thought about painting the car, but then reconsidered when I realized that I wouldn't have this car forever. The next thought was magnetic vinyls, but when I priced the ready made ones it was way out of my league, and they weren't nearly detailed enough for my taste. I went to the local sign store and asked what it would cost for just the plain white magnetic vinyls, and found that I could afford to do that. For the 2 magnetic vinyls, paint, brushes, and clear coat spray the cost was under 100 dollars. Of course the numerous hours I spent painting don't have a price, but at least if the paint peels or chips I can fix it for nothing. I used photos of my own birds to get the color just right as you can see on the left and I used the NCS logo on the right to guide me to the finished product. I am in hopes that this will direct more people to a reliable and current site. A site that will give them the tools they need to make sure that their cockatiel will live a long, healthy, and happy life.
The finished hood magnet
Well this is the hood finished I am still working on the trunk magnet, which I will post pictures of very soon. This took me nearly 6 months to finish this one, but I am very happy with it. It is 3 feet wide by 2 feet high and has advertising for the NCS on it. The show box on the right represents the advanced show people and the show box on the left represents the novice. By working together as a team, we all win, no matter what the outcome. The one I am working on now, for the trunk is 4 feet wide by 2 feet high and will have nearly every color mutation available on it. It will also feature some of our other feathered friends as well, such as our finches, parakeets and our love bird.
